- I thought I was ordering copies of court records on a government web site and was switched to a private company payment processor screen that was just a scam. Thanks Google for helping them pull this off. It is serious enough that I might report it to the AG’s complaint intake.
- I already see scams targeting small businesses on the fast approaching Corporate Transparency Act offering assistance but really just collecting business ownership information and private personal information along with payment details. I am quickly forming an opinion that the only winners coming from this law will be scammers.
